Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mount Coot-tha boast 52 hectares of gardens. Within the space you'll discover the Arid Zone and Cactus Zone, Australian Plant Communities, Bonsai House, Fern House, Fragrant Plants and Herb Garden, Freedom Wall, Hide 'n' Seek Children's Trail, Japanese Garden, Lagoon and Bamboo Grove, Rainforests and Tropical Display Dome.
Picnic areas including tables and seats under shade, as well as toilets and drinking fountains are found throughout the gardens. There is also a refurbished cafe and function centre with a large open-air deck overlooking the Bamboo Grove and Temperate Garden lagoons. Botanical Cafe is open daily from 8am to 5pm for breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks.
Brisbane Botanic Gardens is open to the public everdy day, from 8am to 5:30pm during September to March months, and from 8am to 5pm from April to August. Entry to the gardens is free. Find them at Mt Cooth-tha Road, Toowong - just a 5 to 6 minute drive from us here at Inn on the Park.
